Registering #
Registering with SentLive is simple; to join the Free Starter plan, on any page, click the menu link () in the top left of your screen, and the menu opens; complete the simple form, or click either the Google or Facebook social login button if you wish to use that method; if you want to register by purchasing a Paid plan instead, click Pricing, and on that page select the plan you want by clicking the appropriate button and following the instructions below.
IOS USERS; SPECIAL NOTE
Because Apple handles web apps differently than Android or desktop platforms, please follow these steps to ensure you receive notifications and stay logged into your account. Open the Safari browser, and visit our site; install our web app, and then close the browser once installed. Open the app, and then follow the instructions above. Ensure the “Remember Me” checkbox is ticked before submitting. This keeps you logged in every time you visit, unless you either deliberately log out, or you clear your browser cache and cookies.
Paid Plan Process #
Once you have clicked the button to subscribe to one of the paid plans you will be taken to a payment page from our payment gateway, Stripe. Check that the plan and amount shown is what you selected, then enter your card details and other information required – some of this may have been automatically completed (e.g. country). If you wish you can tick a box to save the details. Please read the information on the page, and once you have completed everything, click ‘Subscribe’. This puts in motion either the regular monthly or yearly subscription you selected, which can be cancelled at any time. At any point before clicking ‘Subscribe’ you can stop the process, but we do not refund any payments once they have been made for any reason. Once the payment process is successful you will be taken to a page to select your unique username and password, and once that is submitted, you will be logged in automatically and taken to your profile dashboard. You will receive an email confirming the payment and the creation of the account on SentLive – we recommend that you save the email, or the details contained, somewhere on your device.
RECOMMENDED!
If you are using a mobile device (other than iOS) to register, we recommend using Google Chrome – this has been tested extensively by us and is currently the best option for installing the app; most other browsers will work, but have not worked as well, although this may change as browsers are regularly updated.
Logging In #
As mentioned above, you are logged in automatically on completing registration; for future visits, if you have logged out, you can log in on the Home page by clicking near the top left of the screen, and either entering the email address or username you registered with, and the password in the relevant boxes, or if you are using the email address you use for either Google or Facebook, you can click either of those buttons; you also have the option to tick the ‘Remember me’ box, so the next time you visit the site on the same device and using the same browser, or using the web app, you will be logged in automatically. Sometimes you may need to log in again though, if it has been a long time since your last visit to the site, or your browser/ device has been updated, or had it’s stored data (cache and cookies) cleared. If you install the SentLive web app we recommend remaining logged in and leaving it active on your device to ensure you are alerted about the status of your connections, as well as any messages you receive.
Forgotten Password #
If you have forgotten your password when you try to login, there is a link on the Login form – ‘Lost Password?’ – click on this and you will be asked to enter your email address, and click ‘Get New Password’. You will receive an email with a new password, which you can use to log in, and then if you wish, you can change this new password in the Settings of your Profile. If the email does not appear, please first check your Spam or Junk Mail folder; if you do not find it there, try the process again but make sure you have entered your email address correctly. If you still don’t receive the email, please contact us.
Logging Out #
There is no particular reason that you have to log out of SentLive, and in fact we would advise against doing so, because remaining logged in ensures that you will get notified of any updates about your connections on the site. For more about Notifications please click here. However, it is up to you, so to log out there is a button in the same menu, when you are logged in, to Logout. Very occasionally, if something doesn’t seem to be working quite right on your device, logging out and logging in again might fix the problem – to find out more about fixing problems you might encounter while using SentLive, go to the FAQ section of this guide.
