Your Crew is the people who matter most to you normally, those who you want to know are healthy, happy and loving life! But you also want to know if or when something is not right, or something bad has happened, or if something might have happened to them that they are unable to tell you – for instance they have had a fall, or they are unable to use their phone.
These are the people that should be in your Crew, often family or very close friends, but the choice is entirely yours. The first thing you need to do when you join Sentlive is to either find anyone that you want in your Crew who is already a member, and invite them to be part of your Crew, or invite the people you want as your Crew, who aren’t already members, to join Sentlive.
Each plan has a different setting for how many people can be in your Crew (see the Pricing page) and this number is referred to as how many slots you have. If you join someone else’s Crew, they become part of your Crew too, which uses a slot, and if you join a Loop (see more here) this also counts as one slot of your Crew. If you are running out of slots, then you will either need to remove someone from your Crew, or Upgrade to the next plan level.
Once you have at least one Crew member, you are able to use the Crew Button to send CALMs and Signals, which alerts your Crew that you are either doing just fine or that you have a problem. You can also send a check, or a regular schedule of checks, to a Crew member for them to respond with a CALM or Signal. Once you have either created or joined a Loop, you can do the same with other Loop members, through either the dedicated page for the Loop you are in, or from the Sentlive Members page, or the Profile page of the individual Member. The check button will only be visible when there is a connection between you and the other member.
